The Bay Area Water Ski Club is a nonprofit, non competitive, recreational focused water sports club based out of the San Francisco Bay area in California. The emphasis is on networking to match boat owners with boarders & skiers for fun and enjoyment on the water.

The Club features fun water sport events throughout the year including single day wake boarding & slalom skiing, weekend camping, instructional how-to clinics, social gatherings and general meetings.

Everyone (Boat Owners, Non Boat Owners, and kids) is welcome at the club, regardless of your interest or ability. Whether you are looking to perfect that wakeboard flip, a first time or seasoned slalom skier,  or maybe you want to try some new toys like an Air Chair or wake-surfing, it's all here!

Covid Safety Protocol updated July 31, 2022:

In an effort to keep all BAWSC members and guests safe and to align the club policies with current County Public Health Department recommendations to minimize the spread of Covid-19, all event participants attending club-sponsored Calendar Events in 2022 are required to be fully vaccinated with a booster shot or show proof (picture)of a negative Antigen Home Test kit result the day of the event if not fully vaccinated.

Members: Please update your profile on the club site to record your vaccination status.

All event participants regardless of vaccination status are strongly encouraged to take an Antigen Home Test ideally the morning of an event, or at a minimum, the night before an event to validate they are currently Covid-19 negative. 

Most insurance providers will cover 100% of the cost to obtain eight home test kits per month from your local pharmacy. 

Please note: several boat owners may request only participants who can show proof of a negative test that day to be assigned to their boats. You may be asked to be placed on one of these boats. Please be prepared to show a picture of your negative test strip if requested by a boat owner that day. 

Each month the board will review the current situation and adjust as necessary so please check the calendar each month for latest information on events.
