Boat Owner
Used for Boat Owner Bringing a Boat to the Event. Boat owner bringing a guest to an event must be the same person designated on the membership application as the "spouse or significant other" indicated by their "bundled membership" and must be the boat owner's co-driver for the event. This person will pay one-half the event fee as the guest of the boat owner for the full membership year. Co-driver may attend single day events for no-charge as related to boating costs. Contact Event Chair to manually apply credit for co-driver who is not participating in water-sports.

NOTE- Prices below cover registration for this event. You must call Turner Cut resort and pay them for camping fees. In addition, you must pay the boat drivers daily for gas used while skiing for everyone in your party.

Event Overview:

Mark your calendar for the best and only skiing and camping weekend of the summer! Our camping and watersports event will take place from Friday, Aug. 4 until Sunday, Aug. 6. This event is not just about the skiing or wakeboarding,but also about the socializing. For those who haven't been there, the campground includes clean bathrooms/showers, electricity and water.

This is a MEMBERS ONLY EVENT! If you want to attend and are not a member, please go to the website and follow the directions to become a member. Children that come must be those of a member parent or their legal guardians who is attending.

Event Details:

There will be a small event fee for members to cover the transportation of the boats to this event, launch fees and some picnic supplies. You will be responsible for your own camping fees, food, beverages and paying the boat owners daily for their gas used while skiing or wakeboarding.

Boat owners will attend and get their camping fees for free, but in order to make this equitable and to encourage as many people to come as possible, we are going to make this a Pay-As-You-Go event for boat gas. This means if you go out in a boat, you will share the cost of boat gas with everyone on the boat (including boat owners if they participate behind the boat). We believe that you will get more than your money's worth.

We will have a pot luck on Saturday evening. We will bring charcoal for the grills and plates and plasticware for this meal only. You bring meat or a main course to cook and a side dish, appetizer or dessert to share. Who knows what is in store this year but if you don't attend, you'll miss out.

Note: You may have to take down your tent and/or camping gear on Sunday early but we ought to be able to ski until 3. Remember, you must stay and help clean up the boat that you have been skiing on daily.

Special Instructions: After you are given confirmation that you are accepted as a participant in this activity, you must call Turner Cut Resort and make a camping reservation. They charge $25 per night for a tent or $35 a night for an RV with hookups. You can put an additional tent on each site if you arrange this with another camper for $10 per night. Sites have water and electrical and lots of shade.

Depending on the number of boats available, we may need to limit the number of guests that ski/board but all are invited to camp and join the other fun!
