BAWSC - Water Ski Skill Building

Summer has arrived so come out and join us for a fantastic day where we will focus on improving your water-skiing Skills

Event Details: 

This is a "learn to ski/improve your skiing event" where our own seasoned skiers will be available to help you learn how to get up on skies for the first time skiing all the way up to helping advanced skiers improve their form and start preparing to enter the course. No matter what ski level you are at if your goal is to learn something new or focus on improving 1-2 things about your style this event is for you.     Note:  The club has a separate learn/improve your wakeboarding skills set for 6/15 .. this event on 6/22 is dedicated for the skiers and want to be skiers.

The day will start at 9:30 a.m. and last until 4:30 p.m. Lunch is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at the marina picnic grounds.   Holland Riverside Marina has very small store so please plan on bringing your own lunch.  

During lunch, you can sign up for a different boat for additional skiing in the afternoon. At approximately 4:30 p.m., we will head back to the marina to help boat owners with any equipment/boat needs, wipe down the boats, and depart for the day.

This event could fill-up quickly as we will put  no more than 4 people in each boat to allow each skier/coach enough time to practice a skill.  

Event Cost:

Members: $50.00

Non-Members: $60.00

Children under 18: $30.00

Special Instructions:

Each participant needs to bring their own equipment (coast guard approved vest, gloves, skies).   If you don't have your own equipment please contact the event chair before the event to discuss options as the club does not have any loaner gear.
