Event Overview:
Discovery Bay Marina is a wonderful and very clean marina. It has good launch ramp, docks, and parking.
Enjoy the 4 mile straight aways of Victoria Slu and other places for a day of water skiing, wake boarding, Air Chair, etc. PLUS enjoy the boat rides, socializing, outdoors, etc.
For lunch and dinner/appetizers we have two restuarants, or you can bring your own food. (meals are not included in the event fee).
After Ski Pizza Party: All BAWSC members & their guests are invited to Steven Lorain's wonderful home on the water (5730 Marlin Dr., Discovery Bay) at 5pm for pizza & sodas. This pizza party is hosted by Steven Lorain & Ralph Rast for a donation of $10.00/person. This pizza party is optional and may be attended by any BAWSC member whether they ski on 9/7/13 or not. This pizza party is not a formal BAWSC event.
RSVP Required for Pizza Party: Please mail your check ($10/person) to Steven Lorain 5730 Marlin Dr. Discovery Bay Ca. 94505 by 9/3/13. Make check payable to Steve Lorain.
Event Details:
Meet at Discovery Bay launch ramp by 915am and be ready to depart by 930am. Union Point Restuarant will be the meeting place for lunch, it's on the water at the end of Victoria Slu. Thus you can choose to bring your own lunch or try the hamburgers, milk shakes, etc. at Union Pt.
Tip: Drive to the boat ramp to unload your gear. You may have to park in the main parking lot which is ~150 yards away.
At the end of the ski day, please come to the After Ski Pizza Party at Steve Lorain's home (see above).
Bring sunscreen, plenty of non-alcoholic beverages, and lots of energy for a fun day on the water!
