Hello BAWSC Members,
In an effort to support and encourage the sport of slalom skiing, the BAWSC Board of Directors has decided to help raise money to sponsor Greg Badal's Pro-Am Slalom Tournament.
This local ProAm tournament brings some of the world's best slalom skiers to the Bay Area on Sept. 13-15. This tournament, which is free to all spectators, relies on sponsors' donations to fund prize money to attract international competitors and cover tournament costs such as judges, ski lake rental, boat gas, PA system, etc. Please visit http://diabloshores.com/ for more information.
As many of you are aware Greg Badal has donated his time and support to our club for many years by teaching at our summer ski clinic free of charge and speaking at our general meetings.
